In 1983, Decatur Plastic Products, Inc. (DPP) began operations as a sample shop for Decatur Mold Tooling & Engineering (DMTE). In 1991, John Kussman purchased the facility and retained ownership until July 29, 2016 with the Riley family procurement. The Riley's were very pleased that John chose them to carry on his legacy, and continue to be a family owned company. DPP provides custom injection molded, fiber flock coated, and assembled parts for our OEMs and tier 1 automotive customers. Our products and services are primarily used in automotive and truck interior systems. We also produce consumer goods in a variety of sectors. DPP is proud of our global partnership with Ningbo Global Sourcing LLC. (NGS); A tool shop located in the Free Trade Zone of Ningbo, China and also owned by the Riley family. DPP believes that teamwork drives excellence and that people make the difference. Our customers are the focus of everything we do and our driving force is to consistently deliver superior results. Meet Our Management Team

Gary Riley Sr. - Chairman

Gary W. Riley SR, through the Riley family office, is the Chairman of the Board and Principal Owner of Decatur Plastic Products, INC and Ningbo Global, LLC – International suppliers to the automotive industry, specialized in interiors, injection molding, mold tooling and automation; plus motor components and power train components. Our companies serve global Tier 1 suppliers to International automotive OEM’s, through four plants in the USA (two in Indiana and two in Alabama) and one in Ningbo, PRC. Previously, Mr. Riley served as the CEO of a number of private equity owner international businesses in the USA and China, with headcounts ranging from 1,500 to 14,000. Mr. Riley has been successful at leading global companies through financial crisis to profitability and significantly greater shareholder value. Strong finance and technical operations background is combined with deep global and Asian experience in turnaround and China JV management, as well as M&A, integration and start-up situations. He had formed or lead more than 25 Chinese JV’s, many with SOE partners. He also currently serves as Vice Chairman of the board of directors for an international Sinopec JV.

Robert Riley - President

Robert Riley is currently the President of Decatur Plastic Products Inc. and Ningbo Global Sourcing, LLC. He directs day-to-day operations and finance requirements for both entities. Previously, Robert was President of Plastival Inc. and has worked at various consulting firms such as AlixPartners, Ferrier Hodgson Shanghai (now FTI Consulting), and Conway Mackenzie, specializing in performance improvement, turnaround management, and insolvency. He is experienced in working globally with projects across the USA, Canada, Mexico, and Asia-Pacific; focusing on strategy development and deployment through placement as interim management. He sits on the board of Workforce One Southeast Indiana Region, a firm helping Hoosiers and employers find mutually beneficial opportunities, and the Potter’s House, a men’s transition house located in Jennings County Indiana. He also participates in the Advanced Manufacturing Council for Conexus Indiana.

Gary Riley Jr. - Vice President of Supply Chain

Gary Riley Jr. is an experienced supply chain and operations leader, with over 17 years in the fields of Supply Chain Management, Inventory Optimization, ERP/SAP Implementation, and Continuous Improvement Leadership. Having graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Industrial Management with a Minor in Industrial Engineering, Gary has demonstrated a passion for improvements in the Automotive, Tobacco, and Power Generation industries. Gary also obtained his MBA from Purdue University, with a concentration in Operations Management. Gary is the Vice President of Supply Chain for Decatur Plastic Products, responsible for corporate activities surrounding Program Management, Inside Sales, Materials Management, and Purchasing. Before DPP, Gary has been the Senior Manager for Parts Fulfillment for the General Electric Power Division Richmond, VA office, responsible for all Parts-Related Inquiry-to-Order and Order-to-Remission processes and execution for power plant customers in US and Mexico. He was with GE for over 8 years, previously managing Inventory Planning and leading their SAP implementation. Before GE, Gary worked at Philip Morris, Inc. in the Richmond, VA and Louisville, KY manufacturing centers in various leadership roles in Raw Materials Procurement, Factory Floor scheduling, Front-Line management, and Business Analysis. Gary now resides in the Indianapolis, IN region with his wife Elizabeth and two dogs.

Robert Shelton - Corporate Quality Director

Robert Shelton served as a Master Gunnery Sargent (USMC), and also has experience in being a Quality Technician, CMM Layout Specialist, Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer, ISO/TS 16949:2009 Auditor, IATF 16949:2016 Auditor, Quality Manager, IMDS, PFMEA, PPAPs, and Metrology. Bob Shelton joined Decatur Plastics as Quality Manager of the Indiana Molding Division in 2015., and was promoted to Corporate Quality Manager in 2016. With over 20 years experience in quality management, and applying a strong expertise in data-driven, long-term strategic quality applications, Bob has a strong Automotive background dealing with Tier 1 and OEM Customers.
